The first part of this QuickStart assumes that you are installing FLEXlm for the first time. If you have already installed FLEXlm with demo keys and are ready to install your production vendor keys, please refer to the FLEXlm Programmers Guide. This QuickStart contains the following sections:
FLEXlm is a software licensing package that allows licensing a software application on a concurrent-usage as well as on a per-computer basis. FLEXlm allows the implementation of a wide variety of license policies by the developer of an application.

This section explains the process for installing FLEXlm as a new installation.
The following is a list of the prompts that will appear on the screen during the installation process. For demo installations, you can simply select all of the default settings.
Note: If you have an existing installation, you will see another prompt prior to this message.
A Windows Explorer window appears to allow easy access to online FLEXlm documentation, utilities, etc. The FLEXlm Programmers Guide contains a list and description of the installed folders and files. Close the Windows Explorer window.
GETTING STARTED WITH THE FLEXlm DEMO
If you have completed a Demo Install of FLEXlm, you can:
